Ferrochrome slag is an industrial by-product generated during the smelting of ferrochrome in electric arc furnaces. Composed primarily of SiO₂, MgO, Al₂O₃, and CaO, it appears as irregular granules, lumps, or sand-like particles. As a valuable secondary resource, it is widely used in road bases, construction aggregates, cement admixtures, refractory materials, and soil improvement.
