Low-carbon manganese iron has a carbon content of less than 0.7% and is mainly used to enhance the hardness and toughness of steel, as well as to play a role in deoxidation during the steel-making process; medium-carbon manganese iron has a carbon content ranging from 0.7% to 2.0%, and is suitable for different steel production requirements. The melting point of manganese iron is close to 1300℃, and its density is 7.2-7.3g/cm³.
